Website Design Project Recap: Metropolitan Dance Alliance

Resourceful Dance Favicon

Jen came to us ready for a website upgrade. She runs a phenomenal program in a competitive area. It was clear from our first conversation how much her current families love dancing at Metropolitan Dance Alliance. There was a disconnect between the experience at her studio and the image she was presenting online.

The goal of the project was to define a clear customer journey and communicate the studio’s values through copy, photos, and consistent branding.

Jen now has a professional, easy to navigate website that she’s proud to share. Within seconds of visiting her website parents understand her core values and what to expect when they enroll their child.

Studio Location: Minnesota
Total Students: 300+
Website: https://metropolitandancealliance.com/
Platform: WordPress
Programs: Recreational children’s dance classes, performance line, and competition teams
Software Integration: Dance Studio Pro, WP Forms, and Woocommerce
Project Scope: Website Design, Copywriting, Onpage SEO Optimization

After our initial kickoff meeting, we got to work on upgrading MDA’s website. Our primary goals were to modernize the design, lead customers to registration, and create a seamless user experience.

Here are a few additional unique project features:

  • A Free Trial Page | Her upgraded free trial page is ideal for sending Facebook Ads traffic. It is simple and gives prospective clients a quick, easy form to get started.
  • Powerful Testimonials | We sent a feedback form to a handful of current families to gather some incredible testimonials. Jen’s studio families had great things and we loved highlighting them on their site.
  • An Upgraded Page for Current Families | Previously, Jen was utilizing a completely separate website for current families to access their studio documents and information. We integrated a new, password protected page and streamlined the organization. Parents now have an easy “go-to” spot to find the information they need about dancing at the studio.
  • A User-Friendly Schedule Page | MDA offers a year long recreational program, shorter sessions, and several team options. We streamlined how this schedule page was organized and added the extra details parents are looking for when they enroll.
  • Beautiful Photos | Jen held a photoshoot before we started the project. The new photos showcase her students and her space wonderfully. Complimenting these graphics with bright branding and sleek design elements has really elevated the overall appeal of Jen’s site!
