After paying your deposit, you will select a start date for your project and book your kickoff call. We will use this meeting to solidify your branding, confirm your website goals, and review the project timeline.
Following our meeting, you will get to work gathering content for your website. We have a framework in place to make this as simple as possible!
Design
After finalizing your content, we’ll begin designing your website. We start with your homepage to set the tone and style, then move on to the remaining pages.
Every design decision is guided by SEO best practices and a clear customer journey. Your website will not only look beautiful, but it will attract and convert new families into enrolled students.
Review
You will have a set revision period to request unlimited changes and offer feedback. Your website should reflect your studio values and vision! After revisions are complete, we will schedule your launch date and final call.
On the backend, we’ll be busy finalizing your SEO settings, mobile view, and making performance optimizations.

Congratulations! Your website is live! Our team will handle all the details of your launch.

The first step in working together is to book a discovery call. We'll meet virtually on Zoom and discuss your project. We want you to feel confident that working with Resourceful Dance is right for your dance studio!
FAQS
What is the payment schedule?
50% of the project fee is required to secure your start date. The remaining balance is due before launch. Payment plans are available by request.
What platform will my website be built on?
Resourceful Dance designs WordPress and Squarespace websites for dance studios. We can discuss the differences on your discovery call. We use a tech stack that is very user friendly. You WILL be able to make changes to your site after launch.
What do I need before we get started?
Access to high-resolution photos of your students, facility, performances, and your staff is highly recommended. We WILL provide detailed guidelines! Many of our web design clients plan in-studio photo shoots before we get started.
You also need access to your domain registrar so that at launch, we can point your domain to your new hosting account. Sometimes, locating the owner (and maybe the password!) of your domain registrar can take a little digging.
Finally, we recommend that you have time set aside to work on the project. You will have to provide materials and be ready to provide feedback during the revision periods. We have a very streamlined process, but we still need your participation for the project to be successful.
What is the timeline?
Dance studio website projects typically have a 2- 6 week timeline from the kick-off call to launch. After paying your deposit, you will schedule your project kick-off call. Kick-off calls are subject to our current availability.
Are there additional fees after we launch?
For WordPress websites, Resourceful Dance will manage your website hosting. After launch, there is a required $80/month maintenance fee. This covers your website hosting, WordPress maintenance, regular backups, access to premium plugins, and a basic security plan. After 12 months, you have the option of continuing or canceling your plan.
For Squarespace websites, you will need to set up a Squarespace hosting account. We will assist as needed during your kick-off call. Review the current Squarespace pricing HERE.
Can you help with the copywriting on my website?
Our starter and foundational package clients receive a plug-and-play copywriting template that takes you through our framework for generating strategy-rich and SEO-optimized writing for your website.
We will handle all the copywriting for our legacy clients. You will have an opportunity to make revisions. Your website copy should represent your vision!
What's basic branding?
Basic branding includes colors, fonts, icons, and patterns that complement your current logo. If you need a logo or more extensive branding work, we can talk through your options on our discovery call.
What is messaging?
Messaging is the core set of words, phrases, and ideas you use to communicate who you are, what you offer, and why it matters to your dance families. This is how you differentiate your dance studio from the other studios in your community.
Who are your website design services for?
Our website design services are ideal for dance studio owners who understand the value of having an updated, easy-to-navigate, and modern website. They want to provide the best customer experience for their dance families.
Can I integrate my dance studio software?
Yes! We are familiar with most dance studio software (Dance Studio Pro, JackRabbit, Mindbody, Sawyer) and stay current on what their integration options are. Dance software integration is included with every project.
What kind of results can I expect?
While we can't speak to your specific situation, most of our web design clients see an increase in inquiries and online registrations quickly after launch. Your current families will notice the upgrade almost immediately!
